"He speaks not merely of the sad decline in overall intellactual acumen among students over th years, not merely of the astonishing spread of lazy slackerhood, or the fact that cell phones and ipods and excess TV expoure are, absolutly and without reservation, ahort-circuting the miinids of the upcoming generations. Of this, he says, there is zero doubt." Okay well I don't know this guy so I don't know if he's a wack job or if he's lik e the teacher in Lois Duncan's Killing Mr.Griffin and thinks that if you can't write like a college scollar then your as smart as a pile of ( excuse the word) shit. But he might have A point, this doesn't mean he's right! while I'm on this topic, check out this vid that was the first thing that I thought of when I read the article.
"Dear God, why are we thinking we're stupid?" Oh! I remember it's 'cause so much pressure is put on kids these days that many of them break! Thats why we think that kids are getting stupider! So yeah, if people lay off then kids will relax and probably do better.
