DNA shows that Neanderthals had gene critical for speech
Nicholas Wade, New York Times
Neanderthals, an archaic human species that dominated Europe until the arrival of modern humans some 45,000 years ago, posessed a critical gene known to underlie speech, according to DNA evidence that was recovered from two inddividuals excavated in El Sidron, a cave in Northern Spain. Well I can't really say how amazed I am. Wow. Homo Sapiens have been on the Earth for 45,000 years! That's crazy! It makes me think: what are we beoming? That is a good question, however that is errelevent to this blog. Do I believe it? Well yeah! they have DNA evidence! You cant beet that.
